| These are some renders of the
Firepower car that was used in the "7th Serpent"
Episodic TC for Max Payne 2. "7th Serpent" is one of the most
successful total conversion for the Max Payne 2 modding community. My work was to model and texture a slightly next generation civillian car which would look 90% like the "Chrysler Firepower". It was to be used as a prop car which would participate in the crowding of the streets in the levels. Because of the immense interactivity of the mod, these vehicles were also supposed to be able to explode. Hence I had to model another burnt/exploded version accompanied with another burnt texture set.
Model Details:- Triangle/Face Count (clean) - 1294 triangles.Triangle/Face Count (burnt/exploded) - 1192 triangles. Car Body Diffuse Texture - 1 x 1024 x 1024 px. one for each version. Car Mirror Diffuse Texture - 1 x 256 x 256 px. one for each version. Car Wheel Diffuse Texture - 1 x 1024 x 512 px. one for each version. [NOTE:- No normal map or specular map has been used on the car. This was intented to be without them because of the lack of such features in the Max-FX engine. Only for beautification, the exploded version is bumped up a bit in these renders.] The credits are as follows:- Modeling in 3dsmax5 - By Sayantan "Satan" Biswas. Thanks to Aavenr and the whole 7th Serpent Team to let me post this in my personal website. :) |
